This is to inform all aspiring Civil Engineering Candidates in Nigeria that we have decided to make a list of JAMB And WAEC (Olevel) Subject combination required to study Civil Engineering in Nigeria.
For those that don’t already know: Engineering is the branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures. Or can also be seen as the Practical Application of Science and Technology.
According to Wikipedia: Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.
Engineering Subject Combinations are the Subjects required in O-level and JAMB in order for one to qualify to study any of the Engineering courses.
Jamb Subject Combination For Civil Engineering
During JAMB Registration, those that want to apply for admission into Civil Engineering are required to register the following Subjects in JAMB:
- Use of English
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
Civil Engineering WAEC/O’Level Subject Combination
For WAEC or NECO, Civil Engineering Aspirants are also required to register some subjects that are similar to what they are going to study. such Subjects required in O-level are as follows:
- English Language(Minimum:credit)
- Mathematics (Minimum:credit)
- Chemistry (Minimum:credit)
- Physics (Minimum:credit)
- Biology (Minimum:credit)
- Civic Education
- Computer Studies
- Book keeping(As trade Subject)
- Geography(Or any other you please)
